The Kelsey's Final Report, December 2024

In partnership with Better Living Together, The Kelsey conducted a study to identify key themes, challenges, and opportunities in supportive housing development. This process is appropriately referred to as “Together We Can Do More”. This report dives into the key themes and policy recommendations that came from diverse stakeholder engagement, analysis of previous research, and application of best practices from across the nation.

This project was funded in part by a grant from the Georgia Council on Developmental Disabilities.

We’ll present our technical assistance project summary with The Kelsey and share the key findings and recommendations from The Kelsey’s final report. We will also update everyone on our participation in the Georgia Supportive Housing Institute and where things stand on development efforts by The Kelsey and the Paces Foundation. Steven Bauhan, the developer from the Paces Foundation, will be attending the meeting to share his vision for creating affordable disability-inclusive communities in Georgia and to answer your questions.

Finally, we’d like to get feedback from all of you regarding potential next steps for BLT.  We hope everyone can attend and share their views on what you and your community need to reach your housing goals and how BLT can best address those needs in the future.
